“Thank you so much for the insightful and informational webinars you instructed for telehealth. As a human services consultant and assisting a local psychiatrist set up his telehealth platform and policy and procedures, the information was invaluable that you presented. As having oversight of therapists who are using telehealth for the first time, your ideas and suggestions for engaging clients in a new medium of treatment was spot on for supervising them. I am having the therapists listen to the webinar themselves as there was too much info to take notes. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts and commentary. ”

Information on Continuing Education Credits

All courses are IPGGC-approved for certification and recertification CEs. You do not need to pay extra for these CEs. Additional licensure CEs require additional payment. Some courses may offer social work continuing education through co-sponsorship of the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Social Work, a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accredited school, and therefore, a PA pre-approved provider of social work continuing education. These credit hours satisfy requirements for LSW/LCSW, LPC, and LMFT biennial license renewal in Pennsylvania. We are also approved for social work continuing education by the State of New York. Although continuing education provided by CSWE-accredited institutions is accepted by most U.S. state licensing boards, our School of Social Work cannot assure that your state will accept these CE hours. The final authority for approving any continuing education activity rests with the social work board of the state in which you are licensed. Even states that accept CSWE approval may have exceptions in terms of courses they will accept. Co-sponsorship program attendees are responsible for checking with and ensuring that CE sessions they attend through us are eligible for credit with their state’s licensing board.
